Algeria is the largest country in Africa and one of its best-kept secrets. With Mediterranean coastlines, Roman ruins, maze-like medinas (Casbah), and the majestic Sahara, it offers an incredible diversity that most people don’t expect, nor know about. If you’ve been to Morocco or Tunisia and want something more authentic, less touristy, and deeply immersive; Algeria is calling!

Beyond its natural beauty, Algeria is shaped by centuries of history; Berber, Arab, Ottoman, French influences are engraved into its streets, architecture, and everyday life. Around every corner, you’ll find something unexpected that tells a story.

*Please note that the itinerary can change according to immediate needs during the trip, in case. But the overall plan to be followed is what you see.

Touchdown in Algeria’s capital!

Along the way, we’ll have the incredible chance to see ancient artifacts crafted on rocks, some over 10,000 years old, and meet real desert nomads and Tuaregs, getting a glimpse into a life that hasn’t changed for centuries. Days are for 4×4 rides, short hikes, and epic landscapes; nights are for bivouac under stars, around campfires, live music and soaking in the desert silence with the clearest sky you can ever imagine. À la belle ĂŠtoile.

🌍 Local + International Vibes
I’m Canadian-Algerian. I speak the language, I know the culture and the country. What’s good what’s bad. This isn’t one of those generic tour loops. I made sure to come in advance, test and check out everything I will be taking you on. Sure, we’ll touch on the main hotspot, but I’ll show you the Algeria I grew up with. We might even stop by my childhood neighborhood, and if my mom’s in the mood, you might get a peek inside the family home. This is real, raw, and personal. You won’t find it in a Lonely Planet guide. We’ll always be one call away from an uncle ready to help us at any moment, anywhere.
