First thing Serbs ask me when we start a conversation is… What are you doing here? Why Serbia? And to be quite honest with you, I don’t even have a good answer for that. I just kinda found myself… here? Well, long story short, I had to get closer to my work server in the US for lower latency, I chose Belgrade, only for them to lay me off a week after arriving in Serbia. I had paid rent up front for 3 months… Oh well. Let’s just say I had no choice but to accept my fate and make the best out of it. Good thing for you, is that you get this Full Guide to Belgrade!

That being said, I have created this guide based on my experience here in the city for the past 3 months. My experience has been great, I have met many amazing people, Serbs and immigrants, that made my stay here so much more enjoyable. Now, if you are planning on staying here just for a short visit, the experience might be different. My guide is not for you to complete everything in a few days; just pick and chose what you want to do. I will [no promises] make a guide on what to do in Belgrade in 3-4 days, so that it can help short term travellers as well. This guide is mostly for digital nomads, slowmads, immigrants, expats and nepo babes that have time to be travelling for long periods of time.
